Made some stork themed chocolate lollipops for a baby shower. It's takes a long time to make these with all the color detail but I loved the outcome.

Lori's Baby Shower Cake
My Sister-In-Law Lori is expecting her first child and I've been asked to make the cake for the baby shower. I couldn't be more honored to make a cake for my first nephew (My sister is also pregnant so I'm gonna be an aunt times two!!!) Lori loves monkey's so there was no surprise when she told me it would be a monkey themed baby shower. She looked online for an idea of what she would like and found and texted me this pic:
I have NEVER made a baby bottom on a cake before!! So I was a little bit intimidated. After a little brain storming I decided I was going to make the baby bottom out of gum paste. I just rolled a ball out of white fondant and that was it! Then I made a long light peach colored log and cut it in half and those were the legs then I molded some tiny feet and used a scoring tool to had some wrinkles then I made tiny gum paste toes and attached them to the feet.
I then rolled out a light blue rectangle of fondant to place over the baby bottom as a blanket and added some brown trim and a monkey of course!
I added a tier to the cake because our family is BIG and we were going to need a lot more cake. All in all I was very happy with the outcome, It turned out really cute. It tasted yummy too!
